How to Edit a Client Manager's Permissions in the Global Work Platform™

This article will show you how to edit an existing client manager's permissions in the Global Work Platform™.

A user must have Company Admin permissions to edit a client manager's permissions in the Global Work Platform.

Editing a Client Manager's Permissions

Step 1. Log in to the Global Work Platform™.

A user must have the Company Admin role.

Step 2. Click on the Users tab.

Step 3. Select the client manager whose permissions you would like to update.

You can search for the client manager using the search box in the top right corner of the page and filter by role.

Step 4. Click on View Full Profile

Step 5. From the "Company-Level Roles & Permissions" section of the manager's profile, select any company-wide roles and permissions the manager should have.

Company-level roles and permissions include:

  • Company Admin: Can access all company information. Can create and edit other managers.

  • Billing Contact: Can access all company invoices, contractor invoices, and invoice-related reports.

  • HR Manager: Can view and edit all employee hiring information, job details, and documents.

  • PTO Manager: Can view all time off information, documents, and review and approve all time off requests.

Step 6. Assign any individual-level roles and permissions the manager should have from the "Individual-Level Roles & Permissions" section of the manager's profile.

To assign a client manager to a supported employee as an HR or PTO Manager, check the box next to the corresponding supported employee.

Select the box at the top of the HR Manager or PTO Manager column to assign the manager to all supported employees, or for all supported employees in a specific country.

Individual-level roles and permissions include:

  • HR Manager: An HR manager assignment grants access to view and edit sensitive hiring and job information and documents.

  • PTO Manager: A PTO manager grants access to view and approve time off requests, time off information, and documents.
