How long is sick leave in Indonesia?
In Indonesia, there is no specific number of days allocated for sick leave. However, during sick leave, the salary paid to the employee decreases over time as follows:
- 100% of the salary for the first 4 months.
- 75% of the salary for the second 4 months.
- 50% of the salary for the third 4 months.
- 25% of the salary for the following 4 months.
What is the process for applying for sick leave in Indonesia?
To apply for sick leave in Indonesia, a supported employee must take the following steps:
- Inform their manager and apply for leave through our Global Work Platform™ prior to leaving work temporarily or being absent.
- If unable to request permission beforehand, the supported employee must inform their manager and Pebl immediately once they return to work.
- Provide a medical letter from a doctor to both their manager and Pebl.
