Can we share draft employment agreements with our candidate?

As the employer of record, Pebl must be the party to issue all official employment documentation. In general, draft employment agreements should never be sent to a supported employee, by any party. Pebl can be held liable for both verbal and written offers of employment, even in draft form.

The Pebl onboarding process is in place to protect all parties and mitigate risk. This process allows for an agreement review period where you can ask questions and update critical information in the agreement before approval. Once you provide final approval, the employment agreement will be extended to the supported employee by Pebl.

If you are interested in providing something to the candidate before an agreement is shared with them, we recommend capturing the key details of the offer in an offer letter, which Pebl would then share with the candidate.
