Is it necessary for the employment agreement to be bilingual with Bulgarian taking precedence?

Our employment agreement template in Bulgaria is drafted in both English and Bulgarian, with both versions presented side by side in a single document. If there are any discrepancies between the two versions, the Bulgarian version takes precedence.

Can variable compensation be included in the employment agreement or should it be outlined in a separate Variable Compensation Plan in Bulgaria?

It is advised not to include variable compensation details directly in the employment agreement in Bulgaria. Instead, it is recommended to document these details using a separate Variable Compensation Plan template. Although references to the Variable Compensation Plan can be made in the employment agreement, including the actual plan within it is not recommended and should be kept separate.
