In Thailand, employees who are sick or injured and unable to work are entitled to take sick leave under certain conditions.

  • Employees may take sick leave without a medical certificate for short durations. However, if an employee is sick for three or more consecutive working days, a medical certificate is required.
  • If an employee knows in advance about their need for sick leave, they must notify the company by submitting a sick leave form for supervisor approval.
