What are the statutory health benefits in Sweden?

Velocity Global Sweden provides a subsidy for work glasses to supported employees who spend more than 1 hour per day working in front of a screen. To qualify for this subsidy, the supported employee must provide:

• Receipts for the visit to the optician and the purchase of the glasses
• A medical certificate from an optician or doctor confirming that the glasses are necessary for terminal use

It is important to consult with a Velocity Global Sweden representative prior to any eye test to be eligible for the subsidy. Note that contact lenses are not covered by this subsidy unless a specific medical reason prevents the use of glasses.
