- Parents have the right to work remotely if feasible, provided they reside with the child.
- Parents involved in adoption or foster care processes are entitled to leave for meetings or assessments by Social Security, without limitation on occurrences.
- Employees must notify their employer about the need for emergency leave as soon as possible. Application procedures may differ depending on employer policies.
- Emergency leave is paid, and employees receive their regular salary during the leave period.
