The pay for bereavement leave is based on the employee's daily rate, which includes their salary and allowances. The calculation is done using the formula: (salary + allowance / 21.667) to determine the daily rate.
To request bereavement leave, the supported employee should notify the HRx Team of their absence through the Global Work Platform™ or by emailing support@hellopebl.com.
In South Africa, the process and eligibility criteria for taking educational leave, as well as the calculation of pay during such leave, depend on the explicit provisions stated within the employment agreement. If the employment agreement does not include clauses related to educational leave, then the duration, eligibility, and payment for leave are not applicable.

Marriage Leave in South Africa is not applicable unless specified in the employment agreement.
