What is the required notice period for an employee resignation in Taiwan?
In Taiwan, supported employees who wish to terminate their employment agreement without a fixed-term are required to provide advance notice based on the duration of their continuous service period:
- At least 10 days' notice for a continuous service period of more than 3 months but less than 1 year.
- At least 20 days' notice for a continuous service period of more than 1 year but less than 3 years.
- At least 30 days' notice for a continuous service period exceeding 3 years.
